The figures can be bought from Empress, but Dan says they are cheaper to buy through tsuba’s blog site (http://tsuba-miniatures.blogspot.com).Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01262838777862575100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5097704878341971278.post-64556373810414800772019-06-14T08:57:45.896+01:002019-06-14T08:57:45.896+01:00Looks excellent. The cycads were retouched with paint (a light wash and highlight) and all the plants were sprayed with matt varnish to remove shine. I was pleased with how the vegetation turned out. The area terrain was all made from polystyrene pizza bases. Cheap, easy to shape and very thin allowing the bases to blend in with the table. Plants were based to match the area terrain (my standard semi arid/Savannah colour scheme). Each group was randomly activated by a drawn card and could then choose what action to perform. To keep things moving I also allowed the next group to activate if there would be no interaction between the two groups. Each player only had a maximum of two groups to manage, so things moved along reasonably briskly.
