Managed to get the shorelines primed late last night. They are starting to look the business!
Typically I have run out of the Army Painter Brown Leather that I use for most of my terrain base coats. Fear not though, I put an order in a couple of days ago so it should arrive in time for the weekend. Fingers crossed...
These are beginning to look quite plausible as river banks :-) !
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm quite pleased with how they are going. For a relatively simple project it does take a while to complete though. Alas, no paint has yet arrived so I might not be able to get them complete over the weekend...
DeleteThey are, indeed, starting to look the business! Funny how priming them black seems to really bring everything together and at the same time show off the detail!
ReplyDeleteThe primer is actually Halford's grey. But you're right, it does really bring out the detail - and helps to keep the sand/stones in place.
DeleteNicely done, great details...
