Mythic Battles: Pantheon

Not only does this new game by the creators of Conan look absolutely fantastic, but I rather suspect that many of the figures will find their way into quite a few other games!  It's up on Kickstarter right now. I managed to grab an early bird (my first ever, yeah!) - anybody else backing it?

  1. I did see this Lee, and thought it looked good. But I have such a huge list of Kickstarters still untouched from last year, that I don't want to get into another yet. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with yours when they arrive as the sculpts look awesome.

    1. I tend to leave plastics from boardgames unpainted. I often play these with Kyle and his mates and its useful to have games where you are not concerned about the figures being bashed around a bit. Still, some of these may well end up in other games in which case I may have to break out the paints!

    2. The handy thing is, with boardgames like this you can fit everything back into its box.

  3. Yep
I fell for it. Conan was well worth the 'investment'and these looks just as good.
This year has been mad miniatures-wise as I have received so many late kickstarters.

  4. Yes, I did see this. For me, the miniatures are just a bit too "modern". I prefer my mythic heroes & monsters to be in a more traditional style, so I won't be backing the kickstarter. Mind you, judging by the money pledged so far, they won't miss my lack of contribution!

    1. I know what you mean, although I think the style depends on the particular artist. Some are more traditional than others.
